Hi, I'm DJ Regs

My job isn't playing my favourite songs. It's reading your room and giving people a night they'll talk about on Monday.

Two hundred-plus gigs in, I've learned that the difference between a good DJ and a great one is what happens when the floor thins out at 11pm. I watch the room, change tack, and bring it back — without the energy ever dropping through the floor.

In practice that means turning up early with my own gear, working to your run sheet, taking requests on the fly, and moving between emo, UKG, house and party classics like they always belonged together. Festival-level sets, with communication you don't have to chase.

Before you ask

The usual questions

Do you bring your own gear?

Yes. A full DJ setup comes standard — decks, mixer, speakers sized to the room, and wireless microphones for speeches. A lighting rig is available on request for an extra fee. If your venue already has a rig, I'll plug straight into that instead.

How far will you travel?

Sydney is home, but I travel Australia-wide and I've been flown interstate for events like Emo Never Sleeps in Melbourne. Any travel or accommodation is quoted upfront so there's nothing to work out later.

Can we send you a playlist?

Please do. Send your must-plays and your absolutely-never-plays and I'll build the set around them. I also take requests live on the night, so guests can have a say without derailing the room.

How long until I hear back?

The same business day. One reply with availability, a price and a rough plan for the set — so you can tick the DJ off your list and move on to the next thing.

What does a booking cost?

It depends on the date, the location, how many hours you need and whether you want lighting. Send those details through and you'll get a fixed price, not a range.
